  19. On an NTFS partition, if the access permission is removed for the
  20. Everyone group on a specific user's home directory, the home directory
  21. will default to the USERS\DEFAULT directory, even if the specific user
  22. has rights to the previous home directory.

  27. To work around this problem, grant permissions to the specified home
  28. directory to SYSTEM or DOMAIN ADMINS, or to the Everyone group. To
  29. limit access for all users, set the type of access to Read.

  43. 1. Specify a user's home directory as something other than
  44.    USERS\DEFAULT.
  45.  
  46. 2. The Everyone group has full control access by default. In File
  47.    Manager, remove the Everyone group from the permissions list for the
  48.    specified home directory. Add the individual user to the permissions
  49.    list and give Full Control access to their home directory.
  50.  
  51. 3. Log out and log back in as that user.
  52.  
  53. The home directory for that user will default to USERS\DEFAULT.
